Which U.S. Destination Is The Ultimate Summer Vacation Spot?

For the last month you've been sharing your favorite US tourism destinations and voting on our summer travel challenge.

You applauded some of our choices, booed others, and told us about a few places that you thought should have made the list. And by the end of the month we had four great locations that would make any summer road trip a sure win.

Your top picks were:

Wall Drug won for the wackiest roadside attraction, Great River Road Scenic Byway for the prettiest drive, St. Louis Cemetery #1 in New Orleans for the spookiest cemetery and Theodore Roosevelt National Park took the prize for most overlooked attraction.

Not to be outdone, there were a few amazing second place winners and fan write-ins from the comments, Facebook and Twitter that we had to include in our best of the best. Did we leave out your favorite? Add your photo to our slideshow or leave a comment below telling us why your favorite US destination is the one we all need to add to our summer itineraries.

Winner: St. Louis Cemetery #1, Louisiana
