Toddler Dangles By His Head From Four Story Building

A toddler in China's Guangdong province narrowly escaped tragedy after dangling by his head from a fourth story balcony Sunday morning, English-language blog Beijing Cream explains, curating the province's local television news station.

According to the blog, the child found his way on to the family's balcony then slipped through a crack that was narrow enough to catch his head. After dangling for a while, residents eventually heard his cries and called authorities.

As seen in the dramatic footage below, a man on the floor below was able to push the child back up to safety. Thankfully, the child was reported to have escaped the situation unharmed.

Late last month a three-year-old boy from Wenzhou, a city in eastern China, survived after riding his toy scooter into rush hour traffic, according to Shanghaiist. After nearly colliding with several vehicles, a policeman was able to rescue the child.
