French Open 2012 Hotties: Maria Sharapova Among Hottest Women At Roland Garros (PHOTOS)

Maria Sharapova reached her first ever French Open final, reclaiming the No. 1 ranking in the process. She will face Sara Errani, who upset U.S. Open champion Samantha Stosur in the semifinals, as she makes a bid for a career Grand Slam.

Even as Sharapova's spot in the WTA rankings has fluctuated, she has remained among the brightest stars in the game because of her charisma and beauty. Of course, she is hardly the only player on tour to possess those characteristics. Although no player sported an eyebrow-raising outfit at Roland Garros this year, there was no lack of head-turning performances by athletic head-turning beauties. There was also line of women's underwear launched by Caroline Wozniacki earlier this week.

Maria Sharapova is the highest paid female athlete on planet Earth and has been for the last seven years including the year she took off for shoulder surgery. She gets all that cash,not for winning necessarily,but rather from endorsements from Canon,Honda,Motorola,Land Rover,Gatorade,Nike Tag Heuer,Tropicana,and Prince to name a few. The William's sisters, on the other hand, have won a lot more prize money,but cannot come close in endorsement money.

A few wins,blond hair,blue eyes,and a good figure will get you big bucks in women's tennis.

It's a good thing she has all that endorsement money to offset her horrible play the last couple of years, making it to the final of 3 out of the last 4 Grand Slams (winning one); a 36-5 match record in 2012, winning 3 of the 8 tournaments she's played and earning over $4 million in prize money. It's a good thing she's pretty, because she's certainly a terrible tennis player.

I did not say she was a terrible tennis player. I happen to be a Sharapova fan. This year is the first year she has been #1 in the last seven years. Her winnings for her entire career are $21,012,333. Sounds like a lot,BUT it is LESS than any one year's worth of her endorsement money except for 2004.

I find as do most young men these days that the fit athletic good looking white girls are most in demand. The Model Types and girly girls are in much less demand these days as the Princess Types are too high maintenance and demanding for most men to handle. All of my friends say the same thing the athletic non lesbien girls are always taken. If you go to the gym its always the good looking fit girls that get hit on first.

Umm, why are the Williams sisters on a list of tennis hotties? They are two of the least attractive women in tennis. They are built like male football/basketball players. Facially, especially in that god-awful Serena photo HuffPo used for this article, they look like men.

If you're going to have a theme for an article, have the subjects fit the theme instead of being the exact opposite.

These women have zero breasts. I watch and wonder why do they bother with the sports bra. I have also seen zero hips. Most have a figure like a banana.
