This article is misleading and purports misinformation on a number of levels.

Here are a just a few:

The introduction says that the causes of night sweats are "not always serious" but then goes on to list a plethora of potentially fatal diseases and disorders.

The recomendations to "cure" night sweats include "drinking a glass of ice water". WRONG. This only increases the body's furnace as the water must be brought up to a temperature of 98.6 degrees for the body to properly absorb it. Ask any athlete or person who works outside in the sun why they drink room-temp water when they're hot.

"Sleep with a fan on" ???? This is a bandaid not a cure.

I'd go on but now I"M sweating.
