Investigators in Alabama are searching for a gunman who killed three people, including two former Auburn University football players, and wounded three others at a weekend pool party near campus, authorities said Sunday.
Calling the shootings "a senseless act" Auburn Mayor Bill Hamm Jr. said yesterday it's time to focus on catching 22-year-old Desmonte Leonard from Montgomery, Ala. -- the man charged with three counts of capital murder -- and bringing him to justice.
"It's happened," he said. "We can't change that, but those that are responsible need to pay the price."
