It was just this morning we were discussing Emma Stone and her fashion guts (girl showed up to a premiere today wearing the sartorial equivalent of a Hershey's Kiss). Between her risk-taking style, her fantastic hair and that signature raspy voice, we're kind of obsessed.
So we're psyched about our recent discovery: Stone is Vogue's newest cover star! Pics of Emma's July 2012 cover have hit the blogosphere and damn, does she look good. Snapped by Mario Testino, the "Spider-Man" star dons a lacy negligee-type dress with a cozy coat on top, both by Nina Ricci, as well as the blonde hair she's been sporting these days as opposed to her regular red.
The cover line reads, "From Funny Girl To 'Spider-Man''s Leading Lady," so expect a "look how much she's grown" narrative inside. It's the 23-year-old's first Vogue cover, although she's been featured in the glossy before. She was a Teen Vogue cover girl as recently as September 2011 -- needless to say, a Vogue cover shoot with Testino is a giant step up.
And totally deserved. Emma's killed it on the red carpet this past year and has been batting her eyes as the face of Revlon since last August. As far as we're concerned, a blessing from the House of Wintour was long overdue.
Check out a sneak peek below and stay tuned for the cover's official release!
