Who knew? Colin Powell can sing!

The former secretary of state gave a brief a cappella rendition of the Carly Rae Jepsen hit "Call Me Maybe" during an appearance Wednesday on CBS This Morning. He sang with the show's co-host, Gayle King.

After the impromptu performance, Powell joked with co-host Charlie Rose that he was locked into singing the song, instead of talking about politics.

It's not the first time Powell has put on a public singing performance. Click here for a video of him singing an adaption of "YMCA."
