TechCrunch:

Facebook is testing and will soon launch Facebook Exchange, a real-time bidding ad system where visitors to third-party websites are marked with a cookie, and can then be shown real-time bid ads related to their web browsing when they return to Facebook. This retargeting option could be a huge money maker for Facebook as it will allow for more relevant direct advertising.

There is a call for action going on for everyone to call their congress members to request "anti cyber stalking" legislation. This is degrading our internet experience.  There are over 800 companies dropping tracking cookies on online computer users. It is past installing plugins and add-ons. We are going in offensive mode. There is also a digital bill of rights being hashed out now that you can input on at www.keeptheinternetopen.com.  There is  a list of congress members already on board. Just call one from the supporters if they are in your state and ask for the legislation.
