To hear Scott tell it it's all just a little mix up, as if he hasn't had any involvement with ALEC and as if he and his state legislature didn't implement their hard rightwing legislative templates like Voter ID laws. Scott knew exactly what he was doing in proposing the purge. Otherwise he wouldn't be standing staunchly against the criticism and protests of the purge or resisting the Justice Department.

They picked up the FLA phone book and started scratching off any Hispanic looking name, (case in point: the decorated WWll vet) they saw and they got caught (again) which resulted in all the defensive blather we have to listen to now. With Scott's fraud record, he probably had no problem concocting it.
