Detroit Consent Agreement Challenge Dismissed After Mayor Bing Takes Top Attorney To Court

MASON, Michigan, June 13 (Reuters) - A Michigan judge on Wednesday dismissed a lawsuit challenging the legality of Detroit's financial stability agreement with the state.

Ingham County Court Judge William Collette ruled Detroit's corporation counsel, the city's top lawyer, lacked the authority to bring the lawsuit.
