We need about 300 gallons of colon blow shipped to Congress by Nov...We need to get rid of an obstruction that has been plaguing this nation for way too long now. We certainly don't need it during President Obama's second term.. The GOP has caused nothing but trouble for this nation, and enough is enough!

If Mitch were asked what is the most proud accomplishment of the 108th congress he can only say that he used the filibuster more times than any other time in American history and that he obstructed 85% of the qualified judicial nominees who did not even get the courtesy of an up or down vote. By comparison, Presidents George W. Bush, Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Reagan and Carter had 77%, 90%, 96%, 98%, and 97% of their nominees confirmed after two years, respectively.
At the beginning of each congress the Vice President and the Speaker of the House administers the oath of office in which everyone swears to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States. There is a higher oath that republicans took to get their rather plum jobs, the pledge to Grover Norquist to never fulfill their constitutional duty to levee taxes.

Treason is not a political philosophy, it is a crime against the people and our Republic.

I was told by a commentor that I was out of touch when I commented about Romney appointing federal Judges working toward elimination of many womens rights. Every act of the GOP is showing this direction, from attempts and passing laws that essentially ban abotions in their State. As a reader you can ignore the warning but it is reality and McConnell has said it better than I can.

Nothing, absolutely nada surprises me coming from McConnell and boys. I would hate to go down in history as leading the worst obstruction towards our first African American President. Whats sad is; some are proud of their actions.

This reminds me of the Fall of the Roman Empire .... the Roman Senators got too big for their boots. They took so much money in taxes and lived the high life without a care for anyone else .... and THE PEOPLE responded.

COULD THIS BE A WARNING SIGNAL FOR THE REPUBLICANS ??

Don't they get paid to work for the good of the whole country not just their party ????

We need to vote a straight Dem ticket to get this country moving forward again.

Everyone I know from liberals to conservatives are planning on voting for either Obama or Ron Paul. A guy who worked on ALL of G.W Bush's campaigns since his governor race in TX, will be voting for Ron Paul. The Republicans have a serious problem when they lose party faithful people.
