WASHINGTON -- Ping Pong Dim Sum is offering a bevy of new summer drinks to coincide with their upcoming Dragon Boat Festival. The popular restaurants, with two D.C. locations, will introduce "beer boats" in a few weeks, but first, six new drinks have been unveiled.

Both the Dupont Circle and Chinatown locations will be featuring these drinks throughout the season. The happy hour friendly establishments will continue to offer favorites such as the Kumquat Mojito and the Lychee and Roses Martini, as well as the new cocktails.

In honor of the Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, a celebration of the moon when it is strongest during the summer solstice, Ping Pong will celebrate the opening ceremonies on June 25 with deals on Tsingtao beer, a Zongzi (sticky rice) demonstration, a rubber ducky dragon boat race and more.

Closing ceremonies on July 7 will feature bottomless wine, more rubber ducky races and additional planned events. More details can be found at the Chinatown Facebook page and the Dupont Facebook page.

Ping Pong Dim Sum is open seven days a week. View a slideshow of their new summer drinks below.
