Dogfish Head, which prides itself on "off-centered ales for off-centered people" is releasing its newest beer on June 18: Positive Contact. This isn't just any beer though. This is a "house party in a box," according to Dogfish Head's Sam Calagione. That means that with a six-pack of the 750mL beer, you also get a vinyl record with tunes from Deltron 3030, and five beer-inspired recipes from the likes of Mario Batali, David Chang and more.
The ale is brewed with Fuji apple cider, farro, cayenne and fresh cilantro. It was a big hit at Huffington Post HQ, thanks to it's balanced sweetness level and mild herbal undertones. Its nine percent ABV does hit you though -- this is most definitely not a chugging beer.
