Just how imaginary was the government's energy world when it built TVA and lit homes all across middle America, or when nuclear power was translated into civilian energy use?

It woulld be easier to believe that he would lose his faith in religion than for Romney to deny his beliefs in energy - and be credible.

And now for the ultimate flip flop collection.

No wonder he does not want to answer questions.

There is at least one subject that Romeny does not flip flop on.

You should take a look and be informed.

Romney: "Honesty is the best... Screw honesty I'll just bend over so these Republicans like me and I can get elected and have my turn as President."

"what he contemptuously dismisses as Mr. Obama’s “imaginary world where government-subsidized windmills and solar panels could power the economy.” Or as he once said, 'You can’t drive a car with a windmill on it.' ”

Great Argument! You also can't drive a car with an oil derrick on it!

Yet some American states are receiving a significant percentage of their power from renewables, and some countries are reaping even larger "harvests" with wind and solar (Germany's solar electric production is said to equal the output of 20 nuclear power plants).

(And Germany has not collapsed).

True, the up-front costs are high and renewables won't solve ALL of our problems any time soon, but they are renewable (petroleum isn't) and much of the money paid can go to American companies and workers, not dodgy foreign governments and cartels.

He didn't flip flop, he evolved as the Global Warming science turned into Global Warming science-fiction.

He's flipped flop on ALL issues......You better believe that he would go which ever way the Koch brothers, and the other billionaires wanted him to but we won't have to worry about that, because OBAMA is going to win!

But in the end, he flip-flopped on climate change the same way heʻs flipped-flopped on nearly everything else: Research doctored to the taste of his corporate masters.

Corporate Masters is a phrase that belongs to both Obama and Romney. And so does 'flip flop' and 1% and many other talking points.

From a political standpoint, Romney's current opposition to global warming and climate change speaks volumes about the weakness of his candidacy within his own party. Consider this;

In his attempt to out-green AGore in the 2000 presidential campaign, GWB proposed to slow the pace of global warming by limiting the amount of carbon dioxide that electrical utilities release into the atmosphere. As we know, GWB didn't keep that campaign promise.

In the 2008 campaign, JMcCain spoke about the issue of climate change throughout his campaign, telling voters that he was "convinced, without a doubt" in his mind that climate change is real. He argued for an increase in green technology and the importance of a cap and trade system. Five months after losing the election, JMcCain was ripping President Obama for his climate change proposal because it included a cap and trade system, which McCain described as a "giant government slush fund."

Even though GWB and JMcCain had no intention whatsoever of addressing global warming, their status within the GOP was firm enough that they could move to the center on the issue and offer rhetoric designed to persuade environmentally conscious swing voters that they were green-friendly. Even with the nomination wrapped up, Romney is still unable to do that.
