Our government leader's wealthy children are now becoming news show hosts. They will take care of the middle class just like their daddy or mommy did/do. There will be a lot of empathy from the wealthy children to the 99%, don't you bet?

Wall Street, the Government, big business and the wealthy stock holders want to use the money they owe to Social Security to show how great Capitalism is to the younger workers.

This country has been not been capitalistic country since the 1930 Great Depression. FDR’s New Deal put in place a lot of things to make this country fair to all of us. Until FDR we had pure capitalism and we had no middle class. People didn't have the money to retire, there were no Social Security or unemployment benefits.

As big businesses pay low wages, it will fatten the stock market profits. The government will cut Social Security benefits, the workers will begin investing and Wall Street, with the help of Ben Bernanke will make a few young investors rich.

Then, Wall Street, big business and many of the government will talk about how much better it is to invest in the Stock Market than to pay Social Security from your pay. They will talk about how Social Security and the government failed. You won’t hear them say it failed because the government spent the Social Security money and big business didn’t want to pay taxes to pay Social Security back.

When you think about it, ("Tits") Simpson is the ideal jester to deflect attention from the bigger joke -- the fact he's on the DOLE OF THE TAXPAYERS. . Maybe we should be grateful for Simpson if his antics lead serious commentators take a closer look at the entire picture of the fiscal foolishness of Simpson's colleagues. The problem is less Simpson's dopey comments and more the idiocy of the GOP. .
Given what is happening to the real economy in the real world, the prospect of a double-dip recession and the prospect of a lost decade of high unemployment, the idea that the bigger menace is Social Security is just whacko. Let's recall that Social Security is in surplus until 2037!

Simpson and his buddies in the congress were putting the social security money into the general fund for decades to hide the true deficit and their spending.

Social security is funded and has nothing to do with the deficit. He just wants to get the money into the hands of the bankers and wall street who are paying him openly now.

Most of us (what ever our political leanings) are sick and tired of the hypocritical politicians; who say one thing and do the opposite behind closed doors.

Simpson is the exception. What ever happend to "I may not agree with his stand, but I admire him for his forthright and consistent statements and taking an unpopular stand"?

Do we want a Newt Gingrich that proudly (and repeatedly) claimed how he balanced the federal budget as Speaker; only to find out that he borrowed and spent Social Security Trust Fund money? And Newt is the darling of the Conservatives, Tea Party and the Seniors.

Go Alan Simpson and tell us the unvarnished truth about the fiscal state of our country and the dire effects on our grandchidren and yet-to-be-born Americans.
