Bourdain And Crew Embark On Meat And Booze-Filled Bender On Vice 'Munchies' (VIDEO)

Vice's "Munchies" series has profiled a range of major chefs as they drink and eat and drink some more across various cities, but this week's episode is pretty major. Anthony Bourdain gives his crew a tour of some of his favorite New York haunts, and in true Bourdain style, there's a ton of food and drink involved.

First, they stop at Upper West Side cured meat haven Salumeria Rosi, where one of Bourdain's crew members confesses that they usually drink while they shoot. Then, they move on for Jameson shots at Wakamba Lounge. Here's where things start to get real boozy.

Bourdain and his crew then roll into Les Halles, where Bourdain used to cook, much to the excitement of basically all of the diners present. He prepares steak, and of course there are more shots involved. Carlos, the current chef of Les Halles, thanks Bourdain for helping him get laid so much.

Does my heart good to see people doing what they love with people they love and simultaneously destroying their livers.

Repulsive, sweaty, gorging foodie elitists who want you to enjoy their shoving of whatever they can grab and stuffing it ino their mouths.

I have watched, no reservations and loved the variety, travel and personality of Anthony Bourdain. There is a place for him and his foodies. I enjoy and appreciate his humor, sly wit, and don't mind if he's a little toasted. He can layover on my couch any day! Just make a reservation!

Fun show... nice seeing the crew having fun for a change instead of only when they knock over a table of food.

I will not suffer a 30 second ad just to watch the video attached to this article. Not even for Bourdain. And I'm a fan.

I have to agree. This crap where they push ads in front of you anytime you watch a vid is really annoying and it does NOTHING to make me want to buy the product.

I used to work in Miami at a Fine Dining place he came in and wanted to eat for free with a group of 6, telling the owner he would write an article about the Restaurant, and she said no, the next day he came with 1 guy to eat he ordered the cheapest things on the menu, the waiter knew him from Tv. show and was a fan, gave him a good service. Bourdain left a 7% tip. And from what I hear he always eats for free, I wonder what kind of tips the waiters get when he eats for free. If any..

Did you forget to mention that he stole silverware. If you don't like him that's okay, he's an acquired taste, especially for more simple-minded viewers. But posting made up stories. ..Shame on you.

I frequent one of his favorite restaurants in NYC the waitpeople there love him. I don't believe your story. I guess it's the part about fine dining (capitalized) in Miami.

I believe the Restaurant is still open is in Key Biscayne but I can't say the name and I moved out of Miami years ago, but I would not set foot in N.Y. I hear people are very rude there. And I love Texas.

It would have been a small price to pay if he wroe a favorable review. The owner would have easily made it up in new business.
