A Canadian face is coming to "Good Morning America."

ABC News announced Wednesday that Ben Mulroney, an entertainment host for Canadian network CTV, will be joining its morning show as a contributor.

Mulroney, who is the son of former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, will begin his new duties this weekend. He will split his time between New York and Canada, where he remains the host of "etalk."

The show, currently riding high in the ratings, has made a number of personnel moves over the past year or so, including the addition of hosts Lara Spencer and Josh Elliott. "GMA" is also set to launch its afternoon spinoff, "Good Afternoon America."
