David Letterman Explains What Out-Of-Touch People Say (VIDEO)

WATCH: Letterman Explains What Out-Of-Touch People Say

David Letterman doesn't like how President Obama and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney have been calling each other "out of touch." Both candidates have implied that the other has no idea what an average, workaday American goes through, but Letterman argues that neither actually knows what being "out of touch" is really about.

In what could be the most ironic "Top Ten List" Letterman has ever done (although he does acknowledge the irony with number three), the host of "The Late Show" goes through all the things a truly out-of-touch person would say.

As for whether Letterman thinks Obama or Romney is the more out-of-touch candidate, we don't know. For what it's worth, we're pretty sure Romney has said something along the lines of number nine.
