Christine, who is the first blind contestant ever on a reality cooking competition, continued to impress both the judges and her fellow contestants on the latest "MasterChef" (Tue., 9 p.m. ET on Fox). But perhaps because of her success, Ryan tried to "throw her under the bus."
For winning the Mystery Box Challenge, Ryan got to decide which contestants would use live crab in the next challenge, while the others used canned crab meat. Fully knowing the extra challenge it would be for her, Ryan gleefully put Christine into the "live" group. He even smiled when she cut herself opening it.
But the setback didn't hinder Christine at all, who continued to impress. Once again, she earned rave reviews from the judges, and even got a round of applause from the competition. Gordon Ramsay told Ryan he'd screwed that one up, and even made him come taste Christine's dish.
In the end, Christine and Josh won the challenge and will be the next team captains. Tali and Helene were selected as the bottom two, with Helene heading home.
