'Unforgettable' Season 2 Could Return To CBS In Summer 2013

'Unforgettable' Returning To CBS?

"Unforgettable" could return during the summer of 2013, according to Deadline.com. The series starring Poppy Montgomery as a police detective with hyperthymesia, a condition that enables her to visually remember everything, was canceled after one season.

After CBS left "Unforgettable" off its 2012-2013 schedule, rumors began to swirl that the show could find a home on a different network, with TNT and Lifetime emerging as the prime contenders. Now, according to Deadline.com, CBS is in discussions to revive the series for a 13-episode summer 2013 run.

"Unforgettable" debuted to more than 14 million viewers and averaged 12.1 million viewers for the first season.

Sony Pictures TV, one of the series' production companies, is known for championing its shows. Sony took "Damages" to DirecTV after its run on FX ended after Season 3 and the company fought to find "Pan Am" a new home after ABC canceled the period drama.

CBS declined to comment on this story and Sony did not immediately return a request for comment.

"Unforgettable" might not be returning this fall, but you can find out which shows are in the slideshow below.
