Today, Amazon announced their annual Best Books of the Year So Far list. This list categorizes Amazon Books Editors' top book picks released between January and June 2012.

Sara Nelson,'s Editorial Director for Books, said, "The variety of books on the list reflects the broad range of titles published in 2012 so far...Helping customers find and discover outstanding books is an important role for us at Amazon, and we look forward to discovering new and innovative ways of bringing our customers in contact with books we think they'll love.”

Amazon editors create the master list by ranking their favorite books in a Top 20 list, as well as choosing 10 top books in 13 popular categories.
