  • July 4th Fireworks Spectacular at the Hollywood Bowl

  • 4th of July AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl

    Music, food, crafts, and exhibits at the historic venue will be topped off with what is touted as the biggest fireworks display in Southern California. Tailgating is encouraged! <em>When</em>: The parking lot opens at 10 am, the food court opens at 2 pm, the stadium opens at 6:30 pm, the opening ceremonies begin at 7 pm, the entertainment program starts at 7:25 pm, and fireworks commence at 9:05 pm. <em>Where</em>: The Rose Bowl Stadium, Pasadena. <em>How Much</em>: $13, although children 7 and under and military personnel with ID get in free.   • Palisades Americanism Parade

    After the traditional parade, there will be live music and a fireworks display by the sea. <em>When</em>: The skydiving show will start at 1:50 pm, the parade begins at 2 pm, entertainment is at 6:30 pm, and fireworks are at 9 pm. <em>Where</em>: The parade is on Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades between Via de la Paz and Drummond St..     There will be an old-fashioned barbeque with Carolina, Texas, Kansas City, and St. Louis BBQ, corn on the cob, baked beans, funnel cake, and other delicious foods.     This event includes music, a free family fun zone, inflatable rides, and a fireworks display.     Enjoy a 20-minute fireworks show launched from a barge as the sun sets over the ocean. <em>When</em>: 9 pm. <em>Where</em>: The launching barge is located between Fisherman's Village and the Breakwater, so the show will most likely be visible from throughout the marina, and from the waterfront side of most beaches, apartments, hotels, and restaurants.
