Chris Brown, Drake Fight: Singers Offered $1 Million To Box For Charity

Chris Brown, Drake Offered $1 Million To Box For Charity

Chris Brown and Drake's bottle-brawl at a New York nightclub two weeks ago has been much publicized, but now the pair have been offered the chance to duke it out in the name of charity. The New York Daily News reports that a billionaire soda bottling heir has offered each singer $1 million for charity if they fight it out in a pay-per-view event in Las Vegas or Los Angeles in August.

"Obviously they have a grudge. It's just three 1-minute rounds. No one will get seriously hurt," Celebrity Boxing promoter Damon Feldman told the publication.

A good way to put a grudge to rest, or a silly one? Brown and Drake, who apparently spurred over long-standing tension over fellow singer Rihanna, were both left relatively uninjured from the scuffle (Brown tweeted a gash on his chin but later deleted the photo), but apparently they were the lucky ones: Brown's bodyguard was sent to the hospital with cuts to his head, while an Australian bystander incurred a laceration that required 16 stitches.

Meanwhile, NBA star Tony Parker, who was seated at the club at a separate table, was left with a scratched cornea that could cause complications in his plans to compete for the French basketball team in the upcoming 2012 London Olympic games; the athlete filed a $20 million lawsuit against the now shut-down nightclub, W.i.P., on Thursday.
