Convicted child molester Jerry Sandusky can't stand isolation.
The former Penn State defensive coordinator, currently alone and on suicide watch, told his lawyer Karl Rominger on Monday that he won't last very long outside the general population of inmates, the Patriot-News reported.
"He's anxious to be able to move around," Rominger -- the only person who Sandusky is allowed to see until his psychological evaluation -- told the paper. "His exact quote to me, 'I don’t think I’m suicidal. I’m dealing with this, but if I have to sit around in this cell for a few more days, I am going to go nutty.'"

Depending on the outcome of the mental evaluation, Sandusky, convicted on 45 of 48 criminal counts connected to the sexual abuse of 10 boys over 15 years, could be housed on a block with a few other inmates, Rominger said.
The general population already knows who 68-year-old Sandusky is and on his first night in jail in December, other prisoners reportedly taunted him with lyrics from Pink Floyd's "The Wall."
"Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone," sang inmates.
Centre County jail officials are closely watching Sandusky until his psychological review. The tests will affect the outcome of his sentencing about three months from now. He faces life in prison, although his defense team plans to appeal Friday's conviction.
