Mint makes its way into many recipes when the weather warms up. Its cooling properties have a refreshing effect on a hot, sunny day. We like it in our cocktails and in our salads, but it really shines when it's a part of desserts. Whether used in the form of bright-green mint extract or the more subtle fresh leaves, we love mint in our ice cream, cakes, cookies and more. And while it goes well -- extremely well -- with chocolate, mint is also well paired alongside the bounty of summer fruit.
