Teri Hatcher Bob: 'Desperate Housewives' Actress Chops Off Her Hair (PHOTO)

Some celebrities (Emma, Michelle, Carey) can pull off a daringly short bob. Others could use to stick to longer locks -- not that that's a bad thing!

We're talking to you, Teri Hatcher. The "Desperate Housewives" actress recently debuted a short choppy bob, a dramatic change-up from her signature long length.

And to be honest, we're torn. A cute bob, on the one hand, is the perfect breezy style for summer. On the other hand, pulling off a cropped cut depends on one's features. Bobs tend to work on petite, round faces (see: Michelle Williams or Hatcher's former co-star Eva Longoria). Hatcher's got a longer, oval-shaped visage, which we'd never expect to see with a bob. But hey, weirder hair has happened.

A bob is a great haircut. It can be styled different ways and it is almost always in fashion. However Hatcher's bob above looks messy . . . . like she cut it herself.

That looks horrible, like she dyed it and cut it herself...while under an influence..back in the day when she had bob hair it was so cute on her... she looks like a woman in her 60's....... except that she is in her 40's?????

The length could work, or even shorter. It's the style that isn't flattering. It looks like someone has ironed a fright wig and glazed it with glue.

Needs to be about an inch shorter,just at bottom of cheek bone & it would make her face look less long.And the flat look doesn't work on her, needs to be fluffed to widen,again making her face look less long.

Yuck. It's a MESS. What a horrible hair cut. I think it would look cute on her, but not THAT cut. Whoever did this made a whole mess out of it.
