Kelly Osbourne has publicly dealt with her addiction issues before, and new reports say the "Fashion Police" co-host is having a hard time dealing with her brother Jack's recent multiple sclerosis diagnosis.
RadarOnline reports that the 27-year-old TV personality suffered a breakdown, which started onboard a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta on June 19.
Eyewitnesses told the website that Osbourne appeared pulled together at the beginning of her flight, with her hair and makeup done to perfection, but at some point things began to unravel.
"I saw a flight attendant bring alcoholic beverages over to Kelly's section in first class at least four or five times," the source claimed. "And when we landed just after midnight, her assistant, who flew with her, had to help her off the plane. They were the last to leave. There was already a burly security guard waiting for them at the arrivals lounge."
Sources say that by the end of the flight, Osbourne looked completely disheveled and was basically carried down the corridor to the airport tram.
Something must have triggered a reaction from Osbourne during the four-hour flight, because she even tweeted a photo of herself looking very pulled together and reading her "Fashion Police" co-host Joan Rivers' new book on the plane.
"On the way to #Atlanta to work with @usherraymondIV foundation @ushersnewlook @joan_rivers makes the best inflight reading #pissingmyself," she tweeted.
Her next tweet, however, suggested things had taken a turn for the worse. Not even 24 hours after the flight, Osbourne tweeted:
Osbourne has been to rehab four times for drug and alcohol addiction, and it's not uncommon for the stress of dealing with a family member's illness to trigger old habits.
Though the star may have unraveled on the flight, a friend of Kelly's told Radar she is "tough as nails, and she always lands on her feet. She’s had so much to deal with at a young age, and she’s tried to handle it the best she can. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the sudden sad news about Jack helped push her into a dark place again. But she’ll come through it OK.”
In the days since the tweet, Osbourne seems to be doing better and recently posted a photo of herself and boyfriend Matthew Mosshart, writing: "I'm in love and I don't care who knows about it!"
