I have a bridge to sell to anyone who really believes that these two lovebirds are really broken up. They are just looking for a way to change the dynamic. They hope that when they "reconcile" they will get a fresh start for their starry-eyed romance.

A new start. Kind of like Gingrinch who outlasted his serial infidelities to run for president (and if he were not such a pandering fool, if he were not so personally repulsive, would have had a chance)... people have very very short memories. If Gingrinch could live his pathological adulteries down to rise anew, so can Edwards. So he thinks.

I'm with ya on that msblynne. I cracked up laughing when I saw Rielle "Lisa Druck" Hunter say that she and Johnny broke up. This is the same man that went to lengths to lie about the affair, paternity and if he was still seeing his mistress. I believe whenever Johnny sees Quinn, whether it's five days in a row or every two weeks, he hooks up with Rielle.

I think you are right in that they will look for the opportune time to "reconcile", write a book about it and use it as a tool for Johnny to get back into politics like Naughty Newt. Unfortunately for John Edwards, Rielle is a complete flake and no Elizabeth Edwards.
