Coffee Paintings By Josephine Ryan, Norwegian Artist (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Artist Makes Paintings With Coffee

Reddit user and Norwegian artist Josephine Ryan has an unusual medium for her paintings: Coffee.

Ryan posted some of her drawings to Reddit earlier this week and made a splash with the unique works of art, which are made exclusively with the brew on watercolor paper. According to her comments on the site, each drawing takes five to six hours to complete.

A self-taught artist, Ryan's normal medium is pencils on paper, and you can see more of her drawings on her personal website. She also creates works of digital art, metalwork and jewelry, and is currently in school studying to become a goldsmith.

At least one of her coffee paintings is available for sale on her Etsy page for $400.
