St. Paul has a message for all Christians who declared against the Government.

"Everyone is to obey the governing authorities, because there is no authority except from God and so whatever authorities exist have been appointed by God. So anyone who disobeys an authority is rebelling against God's ordinance; and rebels must expect to receive the condemnation they deserve. Magistrates bring fear not to those who do good, but to those who do evil. So if you want to live with no fear of authority, live honestly and you will have its approval; it is there to serve God for you and for your good. But if you do what is wrong, then you may well be afraid; because it is not for nothing that the symbol of authority is the sword: it is there to serve God, too, as his avenger, to bring retribution to wrongdoers. To point out the obvious....Republicans were against the Affordable Care Act before it was even published. All they heard was that Obama thought it was good. Their goal has never been to rid the country of health care...but to rid the country of Obama. This is all smoke and mirroonrs.

I dont know one person that supported McCain that is for this bill, nor one Dem that is against it. I wonder if bills could be introduced to the public without being told who is behind it, or what the parties think of it. Woul so many people still hate health care if it were not a partisan issue? If they had not been told it was a Liberal bill?

The fear the GOP has now, is simple. The longer the plan remains in effect, the more people understand, the more will want it. Soon we will hear the same old lies about death camps and the government deciding on your medical care. Like sheep....the GOP supporters will follow.

I agree religious does not mean conservative that is why the media needs to quit refering to these Theocrats as Conservative Christians, Catholics, Evangicals, Mormons and start refering to them as FUNDAMENTALIST. The new Christian meme (probably thought up at a Koch board meeting) is that Jesus told each of us to be charitable and take care of our brothers and sisters. This is an INDIVIDUAL responsibility, So taking money from someone involuntarily and giving it to others is theft. Thus government provided health care is a sin. (Are you following this?)

A few modest comments about this interpretation of "Christianity":

1) Funny how Jesus apparently thought that providing services as a COLLECTIVE instead of doing so INDIVIDUALLY was "theft." Which is great because it means that I DON'T HAVE TO PAY TAXES FOR ANYTHING I DON'T LIKE! To do so would be against my religion. Whoopee!!!

2) I always thought charity was about helping other people. Guess I was wrong. Turns out charity is about getting your own sorry ass into Heaven by following the Bible's orders to give only to the individuals YOU deem worthy. Really, it's just a commercial bargain with god: I give charity. God gives me Heaven. Such a deal!
