Can it already be July? A jam-packed June has flown by, but it's not too late to squeeze every last drop of fun out of the last of summer's first month.

  • World's Largest Block Party

    For many former suburbanites, Chicago's street fests hearken back to the days of block parties--embrace it at Old St. Patrick's Church's annual <a href="http://worldslargestblockparty.com/" target="_hplink">World's Largest Block Party</a>, with big-ticket headliners like Ben Folds Five and former Chicagoan Joe Pug.   • Wavefront Music Festival

    The <a href="http://www.wavefrontmusicfestival.com/" target="_hplink">Wavefront Music Festival</a> is the city's latest festival devoted entirely to electronic dance music. The event, to be held on the city's Montrose Beach this weekend, features <a href="http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/13/wavefront-music-festival-_n_1421546.html" target="_hplink">a high-profile lineup</a> including Duck Sauce (known for their "Barbara Streisand"), Sasha, Eric Prydz, Matthew Dear and more. <br> <em>5 p.m. - 10 p.m. Friday, June 29, 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1 at Montrose Beach<br> $59.99 daily (Saturday and Sunday), $109.99 (two-day pass)</em>

  • Gold Coast Arts Fair

    Called the "Granddaddy of American Art Festivals," the <a href="http://amdurproductions.com/art-festivals/Gold_Coast_Art_Fair_at_Grant_Park.html#&slider1=4" target="_hplink">Gold Coast Arts Fair</a> showcases and sells the artwork of juried artists exhibiting, and 20 emerging artists from the School of the Art Institute, all in CHicago's picturesque Grant Park. <br> <em> 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, Grant Park's Butler Field<br> Free</em>

  • Chicago Craft Beer Festival

    Beer is a staple at most Chicago summer festivals, but it's more than appropriate for it to take the center stage this weekend at the Chicago Craft Beer Festival. The inaugural installment in Old Town will celebrate microbrews from the region and across the country. <em>6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, June 29, 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1 at St. Michael in Old Town 1633 N.
