After five years of marriage, Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have announced that they're filing for divorce.

"This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," Holmes' attorney told People. "Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest."

According to TMZ, Holmes filed for divorce due to "irreconcilable differences," and is asking for sole legal and primary residential custody of their daughter Suri, age 6.
