I bought the Nest Learning thermostat
Its really amazing how smart it is and my wife finds it even pretty on the wall on the living room

I replaced my analog thermostat 4 years ago. I don't use the programminf feature but what I do because the programable unit is more precise than my old one, I am able to set my AC precisly at 77 degrees. I used to have to play with the old one to get a comfortable setting. Use cieling fans in rooms depending on the sun location during the day' My electic bill has gone down by 250 per year since I changed.
