Lindsay Lohan's Style Evolution: From Playing A Mean Girl To Liz Taylor in 2012 (PHOTOS)

Although it is Lindsay Lohan's relationship status, rehab stints and frequent court appearances that keep her in the news, it is her always notorious and entertaining style that keeps us most interested.

The former Emanuel Ungaro designer, who got her start as a child modeling for Calvin Klein and Abercrombie, first reached international fame when she played twins in "The Parent Trap" in 1998. And she hasn't stopped since. When she first earned starring roles in "Freaky Friday," "Mean Girls" and "Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen," Lohan spent most of her time on the red carpet in jeans and silk tops. As she left her teens behind, the actress-turned-singer swapped out her casual separates for sexy mini dresses, sparkles and stilettos. Now that Lohan is playing Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's "Liz & Dick," she has begun to channel the "Cleopatra" beauty's classic Hollywood glamour. We're talking big sunglasses, sheath dresses and lots of eyelashes. While that might seem like a lot of aesthetic changes, it's really only the beginning to Lohan's transformation. A natural redhead, Lohan's also tried every hair color from platinum blonde to deep brown.

To celebrate LiLo's 26th birthday today (July 2nd), we're taking a look back at her most memorable looks. Which outfit is your favorite?
