Mitt Romney, Ann Romney Ride On Jet Ski (PHOTO)

GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann, took to Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, N.H., on a jet ski on Monday. Romney owns a vacation home there, where he'll celebrate the July 4 holiday.

Below, a slideshow of shirtless politicians...

  • Anthony Weiner

This image obtained by BigGovernment.com shows Representative Anthony Weiner shirtless. Weiner allegedly e-mailed the photo to an unknown woman.

  • Chris Lee

Rep. Chris Lee of New York abruptly resigned after the Gawker website revealed that the Republican had e-mailed this photo of himself to a woman he met through Craigslist. Lee, 46, is married with one son. He described himself in e-mails as a 39-year-old divorced lobbyist.

  • President Obama

Politicians are rarely seen shirtless, but it's been known to happen. In August 2008, just three months before winning the presidential election, Sen. Barack Obama is pictured while body surfing in Honolulu.

  • Vladimir Putin

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is famous for photos such as this one, taken during a fishing trip along the Yenisei River in 2007, while he was serving as president.

  • Nicolas Sarkozy

French President Nicolas Sarkozy relaxes during a 2008 vacation in Cavaliere, France.

  • President Clinton

President Bill Clinton was still in his first year in office when reporters snapped this photo of him at the Kahala Hilton in Honolulu. Clinton and his wife joined daughter Chelsea for a short family vacation in July 1993.

  • Ronald Reagan

President Ronald Reagan had already celebrated his 73rd birthday when he and wife Nancy were photographed at Kahala Beach, Honolulu. The picture was taken on April 23, 1984.

  • Gerald Ford

Just because you're in a swimsuit doesn't mean you can't lead. In this December 1974 photo, President Gerald Ford talks with French leader Valery Giscard d'Estaing at the hotel pool in the Caribbean island of Martinique.

  • JFK

In 1943, 17 years before he would reach the Oval Office, President John F. Kennedy is shown while serving in the Navy.

  • Kevin Yoder

Kansas Rep. Kevin Yoder has been criticized for skinny dipping in Israel's Sea of Galilee during a congressional fact-finding mission in 2011. (AP Photo/Charlie Riedel, File)

But, if Mitt is elected, do you think his will cost less? It doesn't matter who the prez is, getting them and their entourage around is expensive. Find something meaningful to pick at.

Interesting that Kerry was called "elitist" for windsurfing

.Maybe because it takes actual stamina and skill to windsurf?
For conservatives something that requires deftness and ability that means its "elite" I guess.

I'm sure this is going to win the Budweiser crowd over. What kind of wuss rides?
If he really wanted to impress, he would have gotten another jet ski and raced his wife around the lake.

So Ann Romney has multiple sclerosis. I don't want to hear, "oh, it depends on the severity". That's a load. MS is an auto-immune disorder and it effects the joints and muscles. Let me tell you something, I saw her flying across that water and bouncing across those wakes. The pain that that would do to your body with MS would be UNGODLY. Not only would you have to have someone P E E L you off that ski, you would not be able to walk, crawl or pray your way back fast enough to lay down and beg someone to put you out of how much PAIN YOUR ENTIRE BODY WOULD BE IN...and not just for and hour or a day...but for days and days and days with no relief, no help, no drugs that work....jet skiing...madre de dios....how about taking a bath once in a while without help.

I swear to almighty god, if this woman has MS, I owe everyone on here all that I am and all that I own.

The reporter asked him how he feels about jet skis. This shrug is his response. He can't even take a stand on jet skis.

At least Kerry was doing the windsurfing on his own power, and not on an annoying, loud, fossil fuel driven vehicle driven by his wife.

I hate jet skis - a lot of folks on Lake Winnipasaukee hate them, too. They kill the beauty and serenity of the lake.

Sea Doo is an import, not made in US; Now Romneys are outsourcing water vehicles. There are a lot of watercraft built in the US: sailboats, powerboats, canoes. And a canoe would be less noisy than a jet ski and wouldn't need an elevator.

Part of the reason why Romney had such a low approval rating when he left the Governor's office is because the people of MA didn't like the fact that he was always on vacation. The presidency is a full-time job and maybe Mr. Moneybags, who worked for free in MA because he didn't need the money, doesn't have the personal discipline required to do the job.

Wow...the majority of these comments are so pathetic, petty, and clearly jealous. Your comment is laughable given that Pres Obama has played more golf in 3 years than any predecessor in an entire term. The Obamas have taken lavish trips to Hawaii, the Hamptons...not to mention Michelle's own list of personal trips complete with entourage. Not a single eyebrow raised in judgement by anyone in the media. I don't begrudge either of these people spending time with their families....It's the ever present blatant double standard applied by the left that's so despicable
12:58 PM on 07/06/2012
Um President Bush actually took more vacations than any other president in history. George w Bush took 77 days. So your facts are wrong. President Jimmy Carter took 19 days and Bill Clinton took 21 days. Bush made more trips to Camp David a total of 78 days in 2001. President Obama 27 days. Bush was ALWAYS on vacation.

It's a really good idea some genius republican aide thought to substitute Ann for Chauncey, Romney's normal Jet Ski driver at the New Hampshire country house. Optics! They are the masters down to the tiny details of whom and how Mitt gets driven on the Jet Ski. Yes everyone, Mitt is a NORMAL GUY who lets his wife drive him on the Jet Ski - american males will totally relate - Mitt is comfortable being driven.

It's sooooo staged . . . to show off Ann's 'Michelle arms'. Mittens looks totally uncomfortable, and Ann looks . . . staged.
