Deodorize And Clean A Blender Without Taking It Apart

As we're anxiously awaiting the end of the day to kick off our Fourth of July celebration, we can't help thinking about all of the delicious frozen drinks we'll surely be blending up for our party guests. But with continuous use of our favorite kitchen gadget, it's important to make sure we're cleaning and deodorizing our blender properly to prevent odors from ruining the fun. Usually, this task involves cleaning each piece individually (even when running it through the dishwasher) but today we've got a great tip to help you get it fresh without taking the appliance apart

First, make sure the blender is in its cradle properly. Then, fill it halfway with warm water. Next, add a teaspoon of dish soap and half a lemon into the blender. The lemon will help clean off any residue and deodorize the blender. Then, with the top of the blender securely on, turn the gadget on low and allow it to blend this concoction for 30 seconds. Pour the solution into the sink and rinse the blender jar with warm water. Finally, let it air dry upside down and in no time you'll be able to make delightful summer drinks throughout the summer
