Joe Walsh Attacks Tammy Duckworth's Military Service Record

Though he never joined the military himself, Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL) disparaged his Democratic opponent’s military service at a town hall on Sunday, saying that she’s not a “true hero.”

An obvious manic, anti-Women sociopath & bully, he's decided to mix it up in the wrong fight this time!!! Several yrs ago, I listened to Tammy Duckworth do an interview, in which the story of her 'HEROISM' was itemized, point by point. W/both legs badly damaged by enemy fire, she managed to fly her damaged helicopter back to base, at which time she promptly passed out, due to excessive LOSS OF BLOOD!!! Walsh, a gutless coward, now has the audacity to malign Ms. Duckworth, simply b/c she's either a Democrat, Woman, a Vet or all the above?! For this reason, citizens should show up en force to make sure she's voted into office to ensure the likes of Walsh never get the opportunity to disrespect another American Veteran in public EVER AGAIN!!!

I am a disabled Vietnam veteran. Among my veteran friends, some disabled, and some are not, and we have diverse political opinions. However, whenever anyone insults another veteran, especially a disabled veteran, we close ranks. Rep. Joseph Walsh is tattooed in our memories and he will never be forgotten. Lieutenant Colonel, Tammy Duckworth, thank you for your service.

Mr. Walsh, you non-hacker, I hope this courageous lady kicks you to the curb in this election. You need a lesson taught to you that is best taught by a veteran.

Once again, there is no REACT: for Stu-pid, which just about covers most of what Joe Walsh says.
Tammy Duckworth had reservations about the Iraq War, but she honored her commitment to the US Army, and served in the war as a Blackhawk pilot. By her loss of limb, she has a vested interest in the future of this country, an interest that Joe Walsh can not comprehend.

Joe Walsh of the Eagles touring band is honored by the military. Joe walsh the politician should be fired ....If he would of paid his child support and not put down a disabled war veteran he would still be a joke.

She sacrificed her body in wartime the way no president has in my lifetime, the way Mitt Romney's sons didn't, and the was Joe Walsh didn't. So, he can really just remain silent if he can't say anything nice about Tammy's sacrifice (to put it mildly.)

So what is it Republicans? If a Democrat has served in the military and the Republican challenger has not, let's disparage the Dem. i.e. John Kerry, (they made fun of him by putting band aids on their faces). When Clinton ran against Bob Dole and Bush 1, they criticized Clinton for not serving in the military.

So, Mr. Walsh, who was not in the military is disparaging Ms. Duckworth for actually serving in the military. Evidently, Mr. Walsh must be running behind in the polls. Everyone's service, be they Dem or Rep. should be honored and respected.
