The severed head discovered in a Montreal park on Sunday is that of Chinese exchange student Jun Lin, the alleged victim of accused serial killer Luka Rocco Magnotta, Montreal authorities confirmed on Wednesday.

"What was found is actually related to the 11th homicide on our territory -- that is, the Magnotta case," said Montreal Const. Anie Lemieux, the CBC reported.

The head was found in Montreal's Park Angrignon on Sunday afternoon, after they received a tip to the major crimes unit. Authorities now say all of Lin's body parts have been found, according to the Montreal Gazette.

According to HuffPost Canada:

Lin's torso was found behind Magnotta's apartment building, stuffed into a suitcase, in late May. Conservative Party headquarters in Ottawa received one of Lin's feet and one of his hands was also addressed to the Liberal Party.

Lin's other foot and hand were delivered to False Creek Elementary School and St. George's School in Vancouver in June.

Lin, 33, and Magnotta are believed to have been in a romantic relationship. Authorities say that Magnotta posted a video online in May showing him having sex with Lin's dismembered corpse. Unedited footage of the incident allegedly shows Magnotta eating his victim's body parts.

German authorities captured Magnotta, 29, at a Berlin Internet cafe. Officials extradited the suspect to Canada shortly after.

Magnotta faces several charges, including first-degree murder. He pleaded not guilty.
