With all of the recent celebrity sightings at Wimbledon, it was only a matter of time until a little Tebow would be brought to the action in England.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga advanced to the Wimbledon semifinal after defeating Philipp Kohlschreiber on Wednesday, cementing his second semifinals appearance in two years. Shortly after shaking hands with Kohlschreiber, the French native showed the world that the Tebowing meme is still alive and well. Tsonga dropped to one knee and executed perfect "Tebow" form before jumping exuberantly in celebration.
The 27-year-old will face Andy Murray in the semifinal on Friday.
"I will have nothing to lose," Tsonga said, via The Independent. "We're at a new stage of the tournament now. I'm going to try to play it with a light heart."
