This week, Twitter celebrates its sixth anniversary. And although the site is still fairly young, it's difficult to imagine the Internet without the social media mainstay. In less than a decade, Twitter has become a source of breaking news, a breeding ground for viral content, and a hub of social interaction for its millions of users.
Unsurprisingly, young people have been at the forefront of the Twitter revolution, changing the way we all share content. They're using the site to network, share news, photos and videos, and develop a powerful online following. They're young athletes going for gold at the Olympics; Steve Jobs-in-the-makings' revolutionizing the world of technology; and future media moguls. So in honor of the site's big anniversary, we rounded up 20 amazing teenagers who are using Twitter to do great things in their areas of interest. As diverse as these young influencers are, the one thing they all have in common is that they're living proof of the power of Twitter.
