"Shark Wranglers" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on History) chronicles the crew of the OCEARCH are on a mission to tag great white sharks to learn more about the sea's most infamous predator. It's certainly a dangerous undertaking, and perhaps no man is more fearless in the face of death than Captain Brett McBride.
On this week's installment, he found himself hand-to-nose with a great white shark after the crew had managed to hook her. He was reaching out over the edge of the ship when the shark jumped.
"She hit my hand with her nose," he said of the experience, which certainly got his adrenaline flowing. But these guys are professionals, which means that even in the face of the unexpected, they manage to be calm and prepared.
Face the danger alongside the OCEARCH every Sunday on "Shark Wranglers," 10 p.m. ET on History.
