The extreme GOP/TP has no place in state or national politics if they can not or will not consider bipartisanship. Both sides have to give and take. Without discussion and compromise in order to get something accomplished, what is the point ? We do not need representatives and senators who have the maturity level of pre-schoolers. They need to go so this country can start moving forward again .

I need to understand the logic of why someone would want to run for office with the purpose of doing nothing when they get there. After that, I need to understand why anyone would vote for someone who espouses that.

mudflats.net This site has been on top of Alaska politics for quite some time. When TedStevens ran it as his own personal fiefdom, all went well. Nobody saw the nas ty. This is a state with less than a million people, but the same representation in the senate as states with 10 plus million. Same for wyoming and many others. There are at least 10 states with tiny populations that have oversized muscle in the senate.

I think it's a good thing to have groups challenging the status quo. However, I also think they should understand cause and effect, facts, science math and history. The TPers seem to view knowledge and logic as elitist and not to be trusted. That makes them a danger to society.

The republican party needs to find a way to remove tea party candidates and elected officials that have taken on the republican moniker as their own. The tea party needs to make up their own little party. Maybe grover and rupert can finance them. These guys and gals are taking down the republican party as their views are so far right, they have fallen off the egde of the Earth lol.

I used to like the republican party now and then, but not ever anymore.
