KFC Original Recipe Bites Hit Stores

KFC is going portable with Original Recipe Bites, a new offering just introduced with the tagline, "bite-sized chicken, all grown up.”

If you thought KFC already offered a bite-size chicken dish, you're right -- the chain's popcorn chicken is also billed as such -- but the Original Recipe Bites are reportedly bigger, hand-breaded in KFC's signature 11 herb and spice blend and are made with 100 percent breast-meat chicken.

FoodBeast notes that the move comes on the tail of another bite-size fried chicken launch:

You can imagine KFC was none too pleased with McDonald’s making the jump into their territory earlier this year with the launch of Chicken McBites. The rollout was shortly followed up by a spotting of Fish McBites during the Lent season and the Golden Arches recently adding a Spicy Chicken McBites variety to the growing menu.

The Original Recipe Bites seem to have debuted in the Philippines a few months ago, and there's a YouTube ad online to prove it. Watch it below.
