Farrah Fawcett (and her enviable beach body) is undoubtedly a tough act to follow. Replacing the late icon as one of "Charlie's Angels," Cheryl Ladd eased the tension and approached the role head-on, allegedly donning a shirt that read "Farrah Fawcett Minor" to her first day on set in 1977. And she remained the confident and sexy private investigator Kris Munroe until the show's cancellation in 1981.

After giving up a life of on-screen crime-fighting, Ladd swapped out her nunchucks for a different set of wrought iron-- golf clubs. In her Angel days, we saw the petite blonde wear loose locks and lots of beachwear, but since publishing her first book in 2005, "Token Chick: A Woman's Guide to Golfing with the Boys," Ladd has immersed herself in the sport entirely with golf attire. But polo shirts and visors aside, her sun-kissed skin looks gorgeous as ever at 61.

To celebrate her birthday on Thursday July 12th, we're taking a look back at her style over the years. Don't you agree she does the black bikini justice?

In recent years, Cheryl has been racking up her guest appearances. Check out her role as a woman who lives by "The Cougar Code" here.
