Joe Biden's recent crack about sex made Soledad O'Brien cringe on Wednesday's "Starting Point."
The vice-president was at the National Council of La Raza's annual conference on Tuesday, and reflected on his childhood with a big family in a cramped house. He said:
It was wonderful for children. By the way — having your grandpop living with you, having your great aunt, your uncle, for real. Those walls were awful thin. I wonder how the hell my parents did it. But that’s a different story. I know you don’t know anything about that.
Christine Romans replayed the clip on Wednesday. The camera cut to O'Brien, who had her head in her hands. "Really?" O'Brien asked. "Really, the sex joke?"
"Maybe he was just talking about they couldn't talk about their family finances with Grandpa on the other side," Romans jokingly suggested.
