These are the boring answers that a reporter might normally receive if he or she were to ask a professional athlete, "Who are you wearing?"
This is why we don't think too much about a player's attire, with the recent exception of postgame press conferences during the 2012 NBA Playoffs. But on the red carpet before the 2012 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles, this was suddenly a very appropriate questions as the stars of the sports world traded in eye black for black ties and rubbed elbows with Hollywood.
With male athletes like Matt Kemp and Drew Brees sporting classic, classy looks and female sports stars like Maria Sharapova and Danica Patrick turning heads in evening gowns, these all stars showed they can go glamour shot for glamour shot with those in the world of entertainment. Prominent among the actors, musicians and non-sporting celebrities sharing the red carpet were Olivia Munn, Joel McHale, Nas and Zooey Deschanel.
