Jennifer Hudson Wears Leopard Short Shorts At Taste Of Chicago Festival: Yea Or Nay? (PHOTOS, POLL)

The award-winning singer/actress hit the stage in a pair of sassy leopard-print shorts to perform in her hometown Wednesday night at the 2012 Taste of Chicago festival.

Hudson paired the cheeky bottoms with a leather peplum top and glammed-up combat boots for an edgy look. To add a bit modesty to the potentially overly-revealing ensemble, she threw on a pair of sheer black tights under the shorts.

J.Hud's slimmed-down frame is plenty reason to get a bit more daring when it comes to her personal style -- if we'd lost 80 pounds, we'd probably be strutting around in hot pants, too -- but we're not quite sure if we're feeling this look. On the other hand, there's the print to take into consideration. The last time we spotted the 30-year-old star wearing leopard, It was a complete fashion fail.

Fingers crossed that Jennifer's new QVC clothing line doesn't take a walk on the wild side; she should probably lay off the animal prints for a while. What do you think?

Look, I had to look real closely and saw "Cellulite gurl, through those stockings, and some bulges here and there if you look under & around her arms. Even her face looks fuller? It seems she doesn't look as thin like before? Nothing wrong with her gaining her weight back but, Jen doesn't looked "Toned" at all? When you have those weight ban surgery's whatever done, you have to watch what you eat & continue to excercise. I also noticed acne on her face? Now, she would have been the perfect candidate for "Proactive" instead of "Weight Watchers". LOL!!!!!

JHud has done a fabulous job maintaining her weight. I must say, however, once I got past that wig/weave/whatever, it was all downhill from there.......leather and black tights in the summertime? I don't think so!! As for those Hot Pants? That's a definite NO, NO!!

I didn't find the shorts to be as off as I did her hair. Most of the wigs she chooses to wear look absolutely horrible. It amazes me how a man like Tyler Perry, can don a silver weave for a character like Madea, and make it look like its really HER HAIR, but some female entertainers find it almost impossible to find a hair stylist who can find a style that best compliments their face. Crazy.

These "Hot Shorts" on Jen was a "Hot Mess"! Just because Jen lost some weight doesn't mean that every piece of clothing will look good on her. Jen should have left those shorts at home. That is something you wear in "Private" not in "Public", ok. Jen is CONFUSED and needs to find her way back. Jen is not "RiRi", "Beyonce", ect... I think those shorts looked "Trashy"! Jen's Fashion Stylist & Hair Stylist, should be FIRED! The whole ensemble did not go together & was not working for her at all! I also noticed since Jen lost the weight, her attitude is jacked up and so into herself these days. Not cool at all.

LOL!!!! Look Jen should have stayed home and called it a night! LOL!!!! Look, I PRAYED the girlfriend did NOT try to do any RiRi or Beyonce moves on stage? No that would be a HORRIFIC HOT MESS, gurl! This isn't the Jen we all knew before? I miss the Old Jen who was TRUE to herself, TRUE to others, & didn't give a what, what people thought about her. In my opinion, I feel that Jen lost the weight becuase of PRESSURE for "SorryWood", Record Labels, Producers, Managers, Fans, wanting Jen to look a certain IMAGE (Skinny). There was nothing wrong with Jen before? It wasn't like she was FAT? I noticed a change not only in her voice but attitude.
