New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg recently approached "Late Show" host David Letterman with an idea. What if they turned the little garden area outside of his studio on Broadway into a park? They could call it Dave Letterman Park and it'd be a nice tribute to the show.
Letterman obliged, and now a sign in the grass marks the area as an official city park.
Comedian Steve Martin isn't to be outdone, though.
It turns out he's opened up a celebrity park right next door, and his park comes with a lot of bells and whistles that the Letterman park doesn't have.
Do we smell a feud brewing?
