Free People Catalogue Casts Karlie Kloss In A Moody Light

Posted: Updated:

Free People has become our go-to store for everything from boho dresses to lacy bras to stackable bangles, so we were pretty excited to see the likes of Karlie Kloss and Aline Weber in this month's catalogue.

The shoot casts both models as complete opposites: Karlie is dark but feminine and Aline is masculine but light and romantic. We're loving how Aline's bleached out locks practically glow against the dark backdrop. The Brazilian-born beauty (and Charlie Sheen enthusiast!) manages to make studs and boyfriend jeans look relaxed and cool.

Ms. Kloss, on the other hand, takes on the femme role in bustiers, a-line skirts and some heavy pattern layering. Her tousled and teased hair looks gorgeous, despite the moody feel of the shots. We're still reeling about the possibility of seeing Karlie in the 2013 Pirelli Calendar (a risqué, but not uncharacteristic move for the 19-year-old), which would be quite a step away from these catalogue shoots. But for now, we're pretty happy to see the model rock actual clothes in her photos.

Check out the catalogue shoot and tell us what you think!
