Diving into shark-infested waters inside of a protective cage is a hair-raising adventure by itself. On "Shark Wranglers" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on History), the guys found themselves in a situation where they had to brave the murky shark-filled deep without the added safety of a cage.

One of the sharks they had tagged stopped moving, which isn't something healthy sharks do. Concerned that she may be dead, they determined that they would have to take the risky dive.

To clarify the danger, viewers were told that the divers would not be able to see other sharks in the vicinity until they were only an arm's length away. Luckily, the guys managed to complete the dive and get back out of the water safely. Unfortunately, there was no sign of their missing shark.

The team faces new dangers every week on "Shark Wranglers," Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on History.
